Once your palate has been piqued in town, you can explore further by driving or biking into the hills and valleys, replete with world class vineyards and wineries.
 
Wine isn't the only thing flowing beyond the edge of town. Meandering rivers and valleys beckon the outdoor enthusiast. Whether hiking or biking in the Alexander Valley, or camping, boating and fishing on the Russian River or Lake Sonoma, the area offers inexhaustible opportunity for outdoor adventure.
 
If you prefer a more leisurely pace, world-class golf is within easy reach, as are beautiful nature walks and picnics among the pristine State Parks in the area.
